Rail Tamping Machine Working Principle

For railway use rail tamping machine, the motive force generated by the engine is transmitted from the passive plate to the gearbox. After the gear is decelerated, the crankshaft gear is rotated to drive the connecting rod, the pressure piston and the gas piston to move up and down, and conduct high-frequency, High-energy impact, in order to achieve the tamping of the operating object. 

Tamping machine can be divided into hydraulic tamping machine, internal combustion tamping machine, soft shaft tamping machine, electric tamping machine. 

1. Hydraulic tamping machine: double guide column frame structure, single cylinder lift mode. Driven by a diesel engine or electric motor; consists of a gear pump, hand pump, reversing valve, vibration plate, pounding ho, lifting cylinder and clamp cylinder and other components. Its work performance can fully meet the needs of line maintenance operations, the same applies to the new line of tamping operations and cleaning after the tamping operation. 

2. Internal combustion tamping machine for railway track bed maintenance of a small road maintenance machinery, mainly for stone trencher bed tamping operations. It is novel in design and compact in structure. It is a kind of tamping equipment with quick and easy operation. It is especially suitable for tamping work. The machine is composed of gasoline engine, damping device, drive shaft, vibrating body and handle. It is composed of independent and complete hand-held tamping machine. It has neither lengthy cable nor bulky flexible shaft. Its structure is reasonable and compact.  

3. Internal combustion soft shaft tamping machine. The tamping machine is a new type of railway track ballast tamping machine. The small internal combustion engine is connected with the tamping rod directly through the shock-absorbing device. The structure is novel and practical, small in size and light in weight, and convenient for the up-and-down road. Particularly, it is suitable for the maintenance and tamping of the train gap. 

4. Electric tamping machine by the control device, vibration damping device, vibration source, ho plate composition, vibration motor shell using aluminum alloy precision casting, good heat dissipation. The handle and the vibration source are connected by elastic rubber, and the fan-shaped splint can adjust the angle. Its working performance can meet the tamping operation of the line and clear the tamping after screening operations.
